Street Chicken (Myeongdong)

In Korea, fried chicken is a popular junk food. It's everywhere. Korea also likes small sidewalk vendors. Sometimes they're on carts, sometimes little kiosks. Here's a small vendor with an evening shop. Their main business is in the evenings.

Recently I tried the fried chicken at a street vendor shop in Myeondong area (actually Norman wanted it - it's Norman's fault). What can I say about it. It was fried chicken. It was ok. I'm sure it's not healthy to eat it too often, but it tastes nice. They also had grilled bulgogi on a stick and chicken to take away. This shop is on the hill that heads towards Belmont. If you're walking away from Myeongdong street, it's on the right side as your heading up the hill.

One good thing about eating at street vendors is that you see the food cooked right then and there. You know that it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp in a back kitchen for the last couple of hours.
